Our Practice in Kelowna

Dr. Kettner was born and raised in Williams Lake, B.C.. His Bachelor’s degree is in Biology from Walla Walla College, Wa. Dr. Kettner studied Optometry at the University of Waterloo in Ontario receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1987. For nine years Dr. Kettner practiced Optometry in Southern California with several busy Ophthalmology Clinics and with a large Optometry group. In 1996 Dr. Kettner returned to B.C. and began practicing in Kelowna.

During his time away from the office Dr. Kettner enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, snowboarding, waterskiing, cycling and appreciating the abundance of the Okanagan area.

Dr. Westfall graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1999. During his first year of practice he worked extensively with Kelowna Laser Vision and was involved in all pre-operative and post-operative care of the laser patients. In 2000, he joined iSight Optometry as a full time associate. This developed into a full partnership in 2003. His practice interests include laser surgery co-management, contact lenses and emergency eye care.

Dr. Westfall enjoys various activities including boating, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, skiing, travelling and anything automotive. He treasures his time with his family, which includes his wife Diane, and his daughter Courtney.

Dr. Stephanie Gautier was born and raised in Kelowna. She completed her BSc in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia. During this time, she worked at the BC Cancer Agency conducting research and publishing several articles. In 2009, Dr. Gautier completed her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, graduating as the top academic student in her class.

Dr. Gautier joined iSight Optometry as an associate in 2013. During this time, she also worked at Vivid Laser Centre in Kelowna, doing pre- and post-LASIK and clear lens replacement surgery consults. Dr. Gautier became a practice partner at iSight Optometry in 2020. In addition to private practice, Dr. Gautier travelled numerous times to Haida Gwaii performing eye examinations for the local First Nations community. She is currently serving as a Peer Assessor with the College of Optometrists of British Columbia. 

Together with her husband, Dave Gautier, they have a two beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and running.

Dr. Bauder was born and raised in Penticton. Her passion for helping people was ignited in elementary school when her mother brought her on her first medical (dental) volunteer trip. Since 2000, she has been on 4 dental missions and 5 optometry missions. In a world where refractive error (needing glasses) is the number one cause of blindness, giving the gift of sight has fueled her ambition to pursue her education and she knew she would be an eye doctor even before starting her Bachelor of Science in Kelowna. She graduated top of her class in 2016 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. She enjoyed clinical rotations in Austin, TX and New Orleans, LA. She was impressed by the integrated medical practice and chose to attain her Louisiana license to continue working closely with ophthalmologists. She was enthusiastic to practice to the full extent of her training, including performing surgeries and laser procedures.

The experience she gained prepared Reyanna to treat a vast array of ocular conditions with the most advanced technology and therapeutic management. She believes that educating her patients enhances the care she provides and her compassionate approach encourages a comfortable experience. She is delighted to practice in the Okanagan and to give back to her community through her patient care at iSight Optometry.
